We are witnessing the dawn of the fourth industrial revolution; physical, digital and biological systems are getting integrated seamlessly. Rapidly evolving technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Internet of Things, Big Data, Block Chain, Nanotechnology, and Biotechnology will have a major impact on the way we work and live. It is our profound responsibility to prepare our youth to not only survive but also thrive in this new industrial revolution.
SLANSHEI wishes to organise the ‘Future Leaders’ Summit’ in partnership with the Ministry of Education. It is proposed to hold the ‘Future Leaders’ Summit’ annually with the participation of around 1,500 students selected from about 100 schools covering all districts. Leading authorities drawn from the academia, professions, corporate sector, and international organisations will educate and inform the students on a wide variety of topics and inspire them to develop as future leaders of our country.
SLANSHEI Research Symposium 2023
SLANSHEI wishes to promote research informed teaching and learning. Towards this objective SLANSHEI is taking steps to enhance the research prole and research output of its member institutions and promote collaborative research with state universities and research institutions. The proposed SLANSHEI Research Symposium 2023 will provide a forum for staff and students of member institutions to present their research. The higher education institutions and research institutes in Sri Lanka and the region will be invited to participate and contribute.
